Visual and Performing Arts: Students are encouraged to use their talents in a variety of ways at Trinity. For those that are musically gifted we offer mixed choir, worship band, and Bella Voce (women’s choir). For those who are interested in digital media we offer photography, video editing, and graphic design. Performances include a Christmas concert, spring concert and a musical. It is our goal to involve all students in the musical even if they are performers but encouraging all students to participate through set design, video production, graphic design, photography, costuming, and lighting.
- 2012 Musical Performance “The Wizard of Oz” April 27, 28
- Past performances include: 2011 “A Night on Broadway”, 2010 “Annie, Jr.”, 2009 “Alice in Wonderland”, 2008 “Don’t Say No to the USO.”
Athletics: At TLHS participation in sports is encouraged and students compete at an excellent small school level. Trinity is a member of OSAA and competes in the 1A Mountain Valley League. We offer OSAA volleyball, basketball, golf and club opportunities in OHSET (Oregon High School Equestrian Teams) and cheerleading. For students interested in participating in sports that aren’t offered at TLHS, students have the opportunity to play for their in-district high school. We have had students participate at their in-district high school in football, cross country, soccer, tennis and track.
Community Service: Trinity promotes leadership skills and servant hood by encouraging student to participate in the community around them. Each student is required to complete 50 service hours per year. 25 hours should be completed in service to their community and 25 in service to their congregation.
Clubs and Extra-Curricular Activities: Students are encouraged to actively participate in their high school experience. Presently over 85% of our students are involved in at least one outside activity. Students can choose from Solar Car, National Honor Society, Sparrow Club, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
International Program: At TLHS we recognize that our students will compete in a global economy and the opportunity to experience cultural diversity at the high school level can help them prepare for future success. We enroll students from a variety of countries for one to four years.
Currently we have eleven international students from eight different countries (China, Denmark, Germany, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Switzerland, and Vietnam). These students are hosted by Trinity families and actively participate in clubs, sports and the college-prep academics at Trinity. In addition to immersing our international students in American culture, students are invited to participate in “International Student Day” where they are encouraged to share life in their home countries with our elementary school students.
